What I Wore Wednesday: Budget Friendly Finds

Hello, lovely people who decided to grace my blog! I'll just go ahead and say thanks immediately just for coming! I have been having so much fun with all of these awesome link-ups; I have found so many great, inspiring blogs! As you probably know, I am completely new to the bloggy world so every last bit of this was completely forgein to me. I have been meandering through and I am so glad I decided to be a part of it all. Every fashion/beauty product I have bought in the last 2 months has been completely inspired by one of you. I don't know if I could have began this journey without all of your wonderful blogs!

I have also been so encouraged by all of the lovely comments and simple page views! I honestly did not know if a single person would ever lay eyes on anything I had to share but my numbers are going up and along with it, my confidence. I find myself actually thinking every night about what I am going to wear the next day and I've been spending a few extra minutes on myself, putting on makeup and doing something with my hair. As a mom who lived in yoga pants and ponytails, this is HUGE! Again, thank you!

So without further ado here's my budget friendly outfit of the day!

Shirt: Walmart ($3.00!!)
Jeans: Target ($20.00)
Flats: TJ Maxx ($5.00)
Necklace: old (?)
Bracelet: Walmart ($5.00)
Ring: From my sista (free!)
Grand Total: $33.00

This shirt is one of my Walmart purchases I mentioned on Monday. I had to think a bit out of the box because this shirt was actually meant to be a tighter fitting shirt. I've been wanting something loose and flowy so I got an XXL...and it worked! Cool. huh? It is simple but the color alone is pushing my comfort zone. Because, I'll be honest, as much as I have been inspired by so many blogs, I have also been intimidated by many as well. Some of these beautiful, well put together women have MASSIVE wardrobes; 100x the size of mine. And some of the most gorgeous outfit posts have had hefty price tags and I thought I'd never be able to climb out of my rut because I couldn't afford it. BUT I'm learning that looking good and feeling good doesn't have to cost a fortune! Baby steps!

  5. Very cute! I agree it's totally about fit, not size. I'm with you on budget friendly clothes, I can't imagine spending the amount some bloggers do and feel ok about it. I'm so glad you're having fun in blogland, it's a blast!

    1. I have gone everywhere looking for jeans but it so hard for me! I'm actually quite tall and most of the time when they say "long", they still aren't long enough! I got really lucky that the jeans that do fit are as affordable! I love Target jeans! Thanks so much for visiting, I love meeting someone new!

  9. Oh this shirt is so cute, I can't believe it's from Walmart, great find! I've been playing with size lately too. This winter a bought a few sweaters in bigger sizes to make them feel more cozy, and it was worth it!
