A Disheartening Truth

I got my hair cut last week and, if you haven't seen it, I debuted it in this exciting post. It was this huge reveal (and surprise) and I've gotten so many compliments on it. Admittedly, short hair suits me much better than the unruly long hair ever did and everyone has agreed and admired my new look. But, eventually the time comes and that "fresh haircut glow" fades. So let's discuss the finer points of that disheartening reality shall we....

Can't a Girl Get a Date Around Here?

This outfit I feel like would be the perfect "date night" attire.....but, poor me, I can't get a date! Even if we did have the time for one (which never happens) I would definitely look out of place next to the hubbarino. Do any of you have problems trying to get your husbands to dress like adults or am I the only one? Basketball shorts and a t-shirt do not an outfit make. Sorry honey but we're going on a date, not the gym!

Polka Dotty

Hey guys! Aren't you so proud of me? I'm sticking out my return to fashion and braving the cold once again. Look at me all outside in the snow and stuff! In a skirt no less! Booyah!

I feel like this outfit is another perfect return to this blog's fashion side. I absolutely love the way it came together; and that's saying something because a lot of times I just feel lost and like I have no real sense of style whatsoever. Do you ever have those days where you just feel like you have no idea what you're doing? It seems like those days produce the best outfits though! Especially when you have an effortless piece to work with. Enter: my new polka dot skater skirt. And at $15 it was a steal! I'll admit, I was a little weary when I ordered it because my 5'8 stature can instantly make any skirt too short but I was so relieved to find that it fit perfectly.

So I finally have a post but I had no one to take the pictures so I had to revert back to the craptastic timer. Yay. The timer truly sucks. Firstly, the brick photographs so incredibly orange and clashes with everything. It is not really that color, I promise we don't live in a pumpkin. And second, I look awful! For a long time I just thought I wasn't photogenic because I always looked way crappier in pictures but then I realized it's something to do with using the timer. Once Justin started taking them, I looked normal. I promise I'm not making this up. I don't know what it is but the pictures don't lie, yo! So I'm wasting a perfectly cute outfit on "timer pictures" but I've been post-less for too long. Bear with me peeps...
