High Heels and Training Wheels: All American

All American

So I finally have a post but I had no one to take the pictures so I had to revert back to the craptastic timer. Yay. The timer truly sucks. Firstly, the brick photographs so incredibly orange and clashes with everything. It is not really that color, I promise we don't live in a pumpkin. And second, I look awful! For a long time I just thought I wasn't photogenic because I always looked way crappier in pictures but then I realized it's something to do with using the timer. Once Justin started taking them, I looked normal. I promise I'm not making this up. I don't know what it is but the pictures don't lie, yo! So I'm wasting a perfectly cute outfit on "timer pictures" but I've been post-less for too long. Bear with me peeps...

Tee c/o Oasap // Skirt c/o Oasap // Heels- Rue 21 (thrifted)
I am absolutely tickled with this outfit. It's just a tee and a skirt but I just like the mix of dressy and casual. This skirt is on sale at Oasap for $14.90 and the tee is on sale for $15.68. That's an entire outfit for $30! Holla! Of course it would look a whole lot better had a certain someone spent 5 minutes to take the pictures but I digress. Let's just say I'm hoping not to have to give you this disclaimer again. Hear that, honey?? Just call me Debbie Downer! I promise to be less whiny next week. Until next time...

  4. I think it's got to be something about the different facial expressions we make when there's actually someone behind the camera and when there isn't anyone there! Because yes, it makes a difference!

  13. Well, I have only one option of where to take them. I have set the camera on the deck because it's the only solid surface that's the right height and I just hate the way our brick photographs! But thank you for your kind words, Sherry :)

  15. It really does! And it's like "pose, set the timer, pose, set the timer" there's no depth or dynamic and they look so stiff!
