Neon Flair

The weather is cooling off and it's time to break out the ol' denim jacket again. Here I am lamenting over summer's passing again. Just you wait until the cold weather really sets in...then you're really going to see some "woe is me" posts. Maybe I should just move south...

There is no doubt that my pictures have improved since I talked my hubby into taking them. The kids do a good enough job but a lot of you have noticed since Justin started taking them. However, he has a real knack for catching me with my eyes closed or as they are closing and I've looked angry for about 2 weeks now. He stands there, for what seems like a full 2 minutes, "focusing" and my eyes dry out. I mean, I can only hold them open for so long before they can't take it anymore. Blinking is inevitable. I guess I should just be grateful. Beggars can't be choosers, right? You'll just have to excuse my "evil eye" or my "take the picture already" look until we get our timing down. 

P.S. Has anyone else seen the torturous season finale of True Blood? This is exactly why I never watch a show until I have a couple seasons stock piled and ready to go all at once. I cannot wait months and months to find out if (we'll call them "character X" so I'm not giving any spoilers away) is going to live or not! Why did True Blood have to go all "Downton Abby" on me?? You can't end a season finale like this, people! I did appreciate the nudie flash we got of "Character X" during their supposed demise but couldn't we have written it in without all the suspense?? Until next time (when I've hopefully recovered from the shock)...
