No, seriously. I think I have 12 total OOTD posts thus far and like 5 of them have chambray in them somehow. Maybe it's the main piece, or maybe just worn under something but it's there. Maybe I shot myself in the foot by buying 3 of them because there's always one available. And let's be real, they pretty much go with anything! I think I may need an intervention!
Chambray: Walmart $5.00
Jeans: American Eagle @ Goodwill $4.00
Shoes: Target $10.00
Necklace: Target (old)
Earrings: Given to my by my sister
Watch: vintage; given to me by my grandma
Let me just say, this 72º weather is glorious! I hope it is here to stay! It was an absolutely perfect day for opening day at the little league park. Unfortunately, Izzy's game wasn't any better than her practice. She ran off the field crying 3 times. She says she wants to quit. I'm kind of unsure about whether we should let her or not. I've always told my kids that I will never make them participate in anything they don't want to do BUT, if they ask to do something, they have to finish it. They've made a commitment to a team and I don't want them to think it's ok to just quit things and give up. But, gosh! Seeing her out on that field, chest heaving, hollering for us is brutal! Any of you moms out there have any advice?
She may hate it but how stinkin cute is she in her little uniform! |
Because I was craving ice cream Izzy toughed it out and finished the game, we went out for ice cream afterwards.
