Birthday Weekend

So how did my birthday go? Good, thanks for asking! I was dressed so much nicer with a fabulous pair of heels but the hubs was feeling the pressure to keep up so I casual-ed it down. The things we do for men!

My most bestest friend ever and hubby #2 (her hubs) graciously played babysitter for us so Justin and I went downtown Louisville. We didn't have much of plan. Just walk around until we found a restaurant that appealed to us. We settled on O'Shea's and, although they have the biggest beers I have ever seen, the food was only mediocre. We also took a journey across the new pedway, because why not, and it was really cool. An old railway bridge that links Indiana and Kentucky was recently renovated for pedestrians and it goes across the Ohio River. Of course, it rained on us while we were up there because why should I expect it not to rain on me on my birthday? But we didn't have any kids; we were free! No rain was going to bring me down! Yeah, you moms know what I'm talking about. Can I get an hallelujah amen !
