Pinning for the Win

Via Pinterest
This combination has been in my closet, able to be made easily, and I would have never thought of it had it not been for Pinterest. Tights are new to me. Leggings have been a good friend but tights were foreign. Gotta say, I'm liking them. I wish my skirt was a little fuller and my tights were a little more opaque but I think I hit the concept. What do you think?

Anybody notice how thick and shiny and fabulous my hair is looking today? Yeah, there's a reason for that and I'll be sharing it with you soon. You're going to be surprised, I'll tell you that. But I'll give you a hint, I haven't washed it in 4 days. Yep. I'll just let you think on that for a little while. Until next time...

  12. You know, I think the slightly sheerer tights are just right ... the high shine on the completely adorable shoes keeps the whole thing a bit lighter. Paired with the pale top and light weight fabric, I think lighter is better. The color is enough to provide interest and contrast.
    Lovely!

  13. I think your concept wins! I like your skirt a whole lot better, the simplcity is lovely and striking, especially with the opaque tights. You look fabulous. Can't wait to hear about the hair trick.

  19. I know what you mean exactly! It's like I'll put together something a little unique and I feel like is too weird but if I see someone else wearing it first, it makes it ok or something. I need to get over that or I'll always be a follower! Always a follower, never a trendsetter :P

  26. I am loving this outfit! I actually like yours better than the inspiration. I know tulle skirts are suddenly really popular now, but I would be happier and more comfortable wearing your skirt. Though I do tend to shy away from white as a general rule...
