Sheer Delight

I've hopped on the sheer bandwagon. I have one other "sheer" top that you've seen quite a few times but it's actually pretty opaque and I always wear a cami under it anyway. This time I decided (once again) what the hell! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I may be a mom but I'm not dead! In fact, I'm still in my 20's! And this is the last year I can say I'm in my 20's, I'm quickly approaching 29, so I'm going to spend one more year embracing my youth. I'll dress like an adult next year...maybe.

There's a time and a place for sheer. It's not like I'm going to wear it to the next PTA meeting or anything. But it's the summer, I'm young (ish) and I like it. Some might think it's inappropriate for a mom but I'm owning it. Plus I think I balance it out with my "extreme citizen" shoes (Thank you Jan for your awesome phrase!)

  1. I am a huge fan of the sheer. I wear sheer tops all the time (with a nursing tank underneath) because a) they're nice and cool and b) they usually button down so I can nurse easily. I say own it!

Also, I have to ask- what on earth do you do to get those amazing arms?!

  2. They would be perfect for nursing! I haven't had a baby nursing for 4 years so it never occurred to me! haha As for the arms...thank you!!! Although I have no idea how they have ANY definition whatsoever. Maybe because my 5 year old still thinks she's a baby and I carry her everywhere?? haha

  4. The whole outfit is perfect! Don't worry about dressing like an adult...if you love it wear it! Age isn't relevant, if you can rock it and still look good, then go for it!

  6. Oh I'm so with you... what does that even mean? "Dressing like an adult"... You know the people who decide who adults dress are adults themselves... and if we're supposed to be adults can't we figure out what we want to wear? Okay I have no idea if that made any sense at all... so basically... you own it girl!! haha Wear what you want because you're gorgeous and look fabulous!!!! the end... haha
