A New Normal

I don't have a lot of words to leave you with today, mostly just some pictures. I've just recently lost my grandma and I'm feeling less than inspired. This is my first blog post since she passed away. My world is forever changed and I'm trying to learn how to live life without her. For 9 months, I have been taking care of her. I've been caring for her for so long that I've forgotten how to go about my days without being consumed in her care. I'm trying to find a new normal. I've been leaving you with pre-written blog tutorials that I had written a while back but I'm trying to take baby steps to posting again. There may be more gaps in posting but please don't give up on me. I'm trying to making my way back. I believe that's what any loved one would want, I know that's what my grandma would want.

Dress: Target/Thrifted $6.00
Cardigan: Target (old)
Flats: Target/Thrifted $7.00
Watch and Opal Ring: Vintage, given to me by my grandma
Feather Ring: Given to me by my sister
Necklace: gift (?)

This is the first of my thrifted dresses that I hauled a little while back. I love the bright neon colors and I love that it has pockets. This necklace is also one of my new favs. It's like those old school BFF necklaces we all had back in the day but they say 'Mother' and 'Daughter'. My husband got them for us. And I finally got some good shots of the beautiful opal ring and watch my grandma left me. She had this watch when she was in college and my grandpa got her this ring for her birthday back in the 60's. They are prized possessions that are so pretty but also so very close to my heart.

I does get easier as the days go on, but never goes away. She loved you and how blessed you were for having her in your life.
