Welcome to a new week everyone! The semester is over so it's one of the few times in my life that I've been excited about a Monday! And I had a wonderful Mother's Day. It was bittersweet though. I was missing my grandma terribly but my husband and kids did amazing at bringing me smiles. I have the best kids and husband!
This is pretty typical. There's always one who isn't looking or has their eyes shut. How do those '19 Kids and Counting' people do it?? |
Hey, hey! Everyone's looking! |
So if you follow me, you know how much I love my denim jacket. It makes an appearance at least once a week because it goes with darn near everything. I could have made this look work without it but why would I? It just gives it a little something extra. It makes my outfit a little more polished but a little more casual all at the same time. Only a denim jacket can do that! Definitely one of my best thrift finds!
Old Navy Polka Dot Jeans {exact} // Old Navy Button Up Shirt {exact} // Aero Jacket (Thrifted){exact} // Tommy Hilfiger Sandals (Thrifted) {similar}{affordable option} // Necklace (Thrifted){cute option}{similar but pricey} // Target Watch // American Eagle Feather Ring {similar}{super cute affordable option} // Sinful Colors Polish in 24/7 {exact} |
I'm wearing my new favorite polish today. This colors glows! Seriously. I mentioned it once before when I first got it. It was a great price at $1.98 but it chipped like crazy! Within a mere 4 hours, every.single.nail had chipped! But this time I simply added a clear top coat (which I usually don't do) and it has lasted nearly a week without a single chip. So, if you try out Sinful Colors make sure you've got a top coat ready to go. With such a great array of colors and an affordable $1.98 pricetag, I still highly recommend it.

Love the green and red together! And I love the subtle dots on the jeans...I have a pair of dotted jeans that I haven't broken out yet..waiting for the day ha! And I don't match my fingers and toes..just a preference. I very rarely paint my nails because I just can't keep up with them..but when I do they are usually never matched to my toes..though I try to keep them in the same tonal family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
You should definitely break them out of your closet! I love the polka dot trend, it's so fun!
DeleteI love the green and pink together. IT's fresh and fabulous. I just got a pair of mint/jean pants and Had it with pink but love the white button up with jean jacket. I may have to go with that look!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you try it out, I want to see it! :)
DeleteI'm in love with those cute sandals but most of all I'm in love with the price tag! Wow, what a score!

DeleteHi Lindsey. I love your blog. I follow you on bloglovin and Twitter. I love to see a super cute Mom looking comfy and stylist with a baby on her hip. LOL. The issue I run into is that I don't like to feel confined in my clothing. I usually end up in a tshirt and jeans and heels just bc it's so easy. Any tips?
