A Maxi Improvement

Happy Friday everyone! I'm no longer using my phone as a camera, I'm using my amazing new Canon Rebel XT and it is awesome. But I have to say, now all of my flaws, blemishes and stray hairs are there in perfect clarity! It's a little intimidating! And my little Iz is pretty dang good because the camera may have changed, but my little photographer is still the same!
I've worn this maxi dress once before but I saw this tutorial on Pinterest and it easily transformed my dress into a skirt.
via Extra Petite
Easy peasy, right? Saves me the purchase of buying a skirt!

Dress: Walmart $14.00
Chambray: Walmart $5.00
Belt: Came with a dress
Bracelet: Thrifted $2.00
Necklace: Gift from sister
Earrings: Old Navy $2.00
Nail Color: Wet n Wild - Private Viewing
And here's my littlest photographer...

  2. How cute! I've recently started doing something similar with button downs--I like to layer a button down over a tank or cami (unbuttoned) and tie it just below the bust. Paired with a necklace, it's comfortable and stepped-up.

  4. I did that once with a dress when I was in high school. My mother wasn't a fan, but I was comfortable with it and I think fashion is 40% what's in style/looks good to other people and 60% how good you feel in it :-)
