The Key to Lace

 Bonjour mon ami! No, I don't know french just trying to keep it real. Yeah, you know how I like to make sense. So I don't mean to toot my own horn but (beep beep) I'm really liking this OOTD. I've had this skirt just laying in my closet all sad and lonely because I didn't know what to pair it with. The key was this pair of shoes. Not quite a heel, not quite a boot. I'm not sure what you'd call them, I call them awesome. I was too hung up on thinking that a lace skirt needed to be dressy and couldn't be casual. Yeah, shows you what I know. You all really probably shouldn't be taking advice from me...but anyway, it turned out pretty fab despite the fact that I'm apparently not as fashion savvy as I thought.

tutorial coming soon
American Eagle Button Down Top (old) {somewhat similar}{similar but pricey} // Target Lace Skirt (thrifted) $4.00 {similar but pricey}{similar style}{similar color} // F21 Shoes (borrowed from sister) {similar}{similar but pricey}{cute affordable option} //  Thrifted Purse $2.00 {similar but pricey}{cute affordable option} // Thrifted Belt $0.99 {similar}{on sale} // Forever 21 Ring {similar} Thrifted Bracelets $2.00 {similar} // Wet n Wild Lipstick in Just Peachy $1.98 {same}
Ahhh, the top knot. One of my dear friends. It's not a new concept but I've just finally mastered it. We all have different types of hair, and despite the plethora of tutorials, none would work for me. Was it the tutorials that were lacking? Nah, it was probably me. But, I figured out how to work it out so I'm going to share it and maybe it can work for you. Because we all need a top knot in our life for those lazy busy days. Be sure to check back for that, until then...

  14. Adorable. I just got a lace dress for summer. I think pairing it with some edgier pieces like oxfords and metals, is the ideal juxtaposition.
